MetaSwitch is one of the industry's leading vendors of softswitch solutions, and they continue to build out their capabilities in pursuit of being a complete IP platform. Their latest evolution is the UC9000 Conference Server, providing carriers with SIP-based reservation-less conferencing that can support up to 500 callers during a single session. This is just one of many unified communications features supported by their platform, and Jon Arnold (hyperlink to my profile), who is a long-time follower of MetaSwitch, caught up to Andy Randall to talk more about it on this podcast.
