Interactive Intelligence Announces PureCloud Suite by Robbie Pleasant
Interactive Intelligence is launching a new cloud-based platform called PureCloud, and related services offering communications, collaboration, and customer engagement applications, to connect employees and customers efficiently and conveniently.
The PureCloud suite is designed to provide reliability and swift deployment, while remaining as scalable as needed. It’s based upon new distributed cloud architecture built atop Amazon Web Services, and is designed to handle the security needs of organizations of all sizes.
PureCloud services cover unified communications, contact center automation, document management, and workflow, and were created using the latest Web design methods.
The suite offers a number of services, including the Interactive Intelligence PureMatch, which matches customer interactions with contact center agents; Interactive Intelligence PureCloud Social Customer Service, through which customers can view agent profiles, ratings, wait time, and performance, in order to choose the agent best suited for them; and the Interactive Intelligence PureCloud Directory, a corporate directory that provides deep user profile content and synchronization with systems such as Exchange, SharePoint, and Salesforce.com. It also provides IP PBX capabilities, unified messaging, presence management, and many more UC features for web browsers, smartphones, and tablets alike.
If desired, organizations can deploy Edge devices within their networks, so that voice traffic remains on their networks and they can continue to work even if there are issues with the Internet connection
“Interactive Intelligence realizes that customers want a choice, and now offers premises-based offerings, as well as single instance and multitenant cloud options, and can now provide the solution that best meets the customers’ needs,” states Blair Pleasant of COMMfusion LLC and UCStrategies. “These offerings all have different attributes, and Interactive Intelligence and its reseller partners will work to find the right solution for each customer, based on customer requirements for security, scalability, features, customization, etc.”
Interactive Intelligence PureCloud will be offered through Interactive Intelligence’s reseller channel, as well through as its direct sales force, starting in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of 2014. Services in other locations will begin in 2015.
