Roberta J. Fox
Roberta J. Fox is one of Canada's top communications technology consultant, analyst, thought-leaders and CIO/CTO level professionals. She is able to explain, educate and inform Canadian and U.S. businesses on the benefits and challenges of next generation technology solutions. She also leverages her extensive industry experience and relationships to ensure that the right technologies are selected, deployed and managed to ensure successful business results for the FOX GROUP clients and their vendors.
Roberta has over 30 years of experience working in senior technology management and consulting roles for respected firms such as AT&T Solutions, Deloitte Consulting, EDS Canada, and Hewlett Packard Canada Ltd. Roberta has also held a continuing education faculty teaching position at Humber College, and has spoken at Ryerson Polytechnic University in the areas of advanced networking technology and technology procurement.
Roberta and her team produce a monthly enewsletter highlighting the top trends in UC, networking and contact centres and what these technology trends mean to business customers.
Roberta regularly appears on or contributes to BNN, ROB, CBC TV, CTV, and CBC Radio, providing creative, thought-provoking analysis and insight on current and future trends in telecommunications, network and contact centre technology news. She is a frequent public and private professional speaker and educator, combining her unique combination of hands-on technology experience, management expertise, thorough analysis and humorous professional facilitation skills.
She has received numerous business and industry awards and has contributed to the advancement of the technology sector as the former Vice-Chairman of the Canadian Business Telecommunications Alliance, former chair of the Telecoms Committee and Information Highway Advisory Task Force of the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC), founding director of the Canadian Telework Association, and former Director of the Canadian Banking Association, CBAnet.
Roberta continues to be actively involved in the telecom and technology industry as a Advisory Board member of the Centre for Strategic Digital Leadership, Board of Governor to the Telecom Hall of Fame Foundation, member of the Community of Telecommunications Consultants (CTC), and the Canadian Women in Communications (CWC) association.
