Zeacom Releases Contact Center for Lync by Robbie Pleasant

Zeacom has recently reported that its Zeacom Communications Center (ZCC) contact center software is now available for Microsoft Lync.

Beta testing of ZCC has been completed at Lync sites in Northern Europe and Asia Pacific. In one case, Spotless Group successfully migrated 600 head office staff and its IT helpdesk in under four weeks to Microsoft Lync without any difficulties or missed calls.

With the release of Zeacom Communications Center for Lync, contact centers can control the delivery of every contact, whether they're e-mail, social media, or voice calls. It offers an expansive functionality, delivering powerful call center and business process automation solutions.

Blair Pleasant of UCStrategies notes, “Rather than offering its own contact center solution for Lync, Microsoft has been working with partners such as Zeacom to give Lync customers the contact center capabilities they need. Zeacom has been providing advanced contact center and process automation capabilities for many years, and is a natural fit for Microsoft.” She adds, “The integration of Lync with the ZCC (Zeacom Communications Center) benefits both Zeacom customers who can now utilize Lync’s presence, IM, conferencing, and other UC capabilities, as well as Microsoft customers that need a feature-rich contact center solution.”
