Toshiba Launches SIP Trunking for IPedge and Strata CIX by UCStrategies Staff

Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. announces that its SIP Trunking I-VoIP service now integrates with Toshiba’s premises-based IPedge and Strata CIX business phone systems.

The company’s integrated SIP Trunking I-VoIP service and equipment make it possible for organizations to use a business telephone solution through only one vendor. Buying both the on-premises system and its associated service from the same manufacturer does away with interoperability issues, as well as the difficulties that may arise when using different service providers.

Plans include unlimited local and domestic long-distance calling, which is subject to the acceptable usage policy of Toshiba.

Both the IPedge and Strata CIX business phone systems will provide for rollover trunks. This allows calls to DIDs to be configured for rolling over to another SIP trunk so that calls can be handled by multiple sites.

“Together, Toshiba's SIP Trunking I-VoIP Service with IPedge or Strata CIX creates a fully supported, expertly integrated, premises-based business telephone solution—all from a single vendor,” said Brian Metherell, vice president and general manager for the Telecommunication Systems Division of Toshiba. “Users can depend on Toshiba's highly respected reliability for both service and equipment.”

The SIP Trunking I-VoIP service is now available through authorized Toshiba dealers in 48 continental states. (KOM) Link. Link.
