Fonality has announced the third installment of their Fonality Five Innovation Series, releasing a service designed to make desktop sharing even easier. The Fonality Screen Share is a cloud-based service that lets SMBs turn their Fonality business phone systems into meeting place tools in which users can share information and interact with co-workers and employees from anywhere in real time.
Screen Share is an on-demand meeting place that's fully integrated with the user’s Fonality phone system, allowing them to launch it directly from the HUD dashboard. Users can record audio through it, as well as share presentations, demo products, and help customers through remote desktop sharing on the fly. Not only that, but it's estimated to provide cost savings up to 80% from traditional web conferencing tools, while eliminating complexity from screen sharing.
Among the features included are secure streaming sessions, remote admin control, keyboard and mouse control sharing, and more. It can host up to 20 participants for meeting, and an unlimited number of meeting sessions. External guests can be invited with meeting IDs or links, while internal guests can be invited through Fonality chat automatically.
