Level Platforms' New RMM Offering Supports Vendors
Level Platforms' New RMM Offering Supports Vendors by UCStrategies Staff
Vendors dealing in hardware, software and cloud services will now be able to custom-make embedded workflows and automation as part of Level Platforms' Managed Workplace's remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform.
Making the Managed Workplace platform available to outside third-party products and solutions, MSP partners of the company can streamline and strengthen technical help for their favored vendors, with less costly services and offering an end-user experience which will go hand-in-hand with the technologies of the vendor.
Level Platforms is launching a Technology Integration Program (TIP) so that the major platform extension can be accessed; with TIP, software development kits (SDK)s with necessary tools and documentation to build next-generation Service Modules will be made available to vendors.
There are many advantages to the TIP expansion, and many VAR partners to Level Platforms are already reaping the benefits. The Chief Technical Officer of the IT solutions provider (for financial service companies) Richard Fleischman Associates (RFA), Grigoriy Milis, conceded to this point.
He stated: “With the Level Platforms Symantec Backup Exec Service Module, we have been able to take a proactive, more automated approach to managing our clients’ backup environment. Service Modules are key extensions for Managed Workplace that delivers immediate benefits for our business and end-users. We are now able to reduce the time required to identify and respond to issues which frees-up valuable IT resources to focus on projects that deliver higher value services for our customers.”
In less than a month it will be possible for basic Service Modules to be created by vendor development teams who utilize TIP SDK. The Service Modules, certified by Level Platforms, will be deployed to the Level Platforms environment on a global level via Managed Workplace.
It has also become apparent that the creation of Service Modules for vendors who have a low number of development resources will be aided with a new integrated service provision offered by Level Platforms.
Vendors who are using TIP, like Datto, anticipate a simplified user experience which platforms can demonstrate to their business models. The CEO of Datta, Austin McChord, said: “We are excited to expand our relationship with Level Platforms through TIP to deliver a unique level of integration for our mutual Partners. With our Datto Service Module for Managed Workplace, MSPs will be able to easily manage our back-up and disaster recovery solution directly from within their RMM platform. This is an important integration for Datto, and highlights our commitment to working closely with Level Platforms to bring as much value to our partners as possible.” (CY) Link
