Ingate Uncovers Its New High-Capacity E-SBCs and Other Products by UCStrategies Staff
Ingate Systems introduced their new enterprise session border controllers (E-SBCs) during ITEXPO in Austin, Texas. Ingate’s general manager, Martin Feuk, also announced the company’s new free trial for E-SBC software and online training coursework with The SIP School.
The new products include the Ingate SIParator 97 enterprise session border controllers and Ingate Firewall 2970. They will be made available to businesses in November, 2012.
Martin Feuk told TMC.net that the products are designed to support up to 8,000 calls. This is a massive upgrade in operational capacity. Take note that the previous E-SBCs of Ingate can handle up to 3,000 calls.
Aside from the development of the aforementioned products, Ingate also expanded the company’s free trial schemes and added a training option run by The SIP School.
Feuk explained that the scalability addresses the demands of Ingate’s big customers such as companies that require a much higher capacity in their encryption and call center communication processes.
Ingate used ITEXPO as a platform to promote its new software trial program which was already unveiled in Europe and some areas in the US. The program allows organizations and businesses to try for free Ingate’s software-only enterprise session border controllers for 30 days. The said software can be installed on any PC, so customers can try it first before they decide to buy. Ingate’s general manager disclosed that hundreds of customers have already opted to test-drive the software via the new free trial program.
With regards to the new training option, Ingate partnered with The SIP School. The SIP School offers SIP and VoIP-related online video courses that come with certifications recognized by the industry. The online courses are made available to Ingate resellers and customers, and they are specially designed to address Ingate-related solutions.
“By partnering with The SIP School, customers can receive Ingate’s in-depth training with the convenience of doing so online,” said Steven Johnson, President of Ingate Systems. “While it doesn't replace in-person training, the online courses are a cost-effective alternative for smaller businesses or for those who need a refresher course.”
