AVST Reveals New Unified Communication Products by Robbie Pleasant

Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) has released the AVST CX-S, a new product line of interoperable, enterprise-class unified communications solutions. These solutions are aimed at small-to-midsize businesses, providing AVST Mobile for iPhone and Android, speech-enabled automated attendant, unified messaging, and many more features on an interoperable UC platform that integrates with all major IP-PBX brands. SMBs can get the most out of their existing communications infrastructure and improve productivity with new mobile and speech-based solutions.

CX-S comes in four configurations, from 50 to 200 users in increments of 50. They come with a three-year warranty for hardware and software, and ships with IP integrations for Alcatel SIP, Avaya IP Office SIP, Cisco Unified Communication Manager SCCP, and several more, as well as the leading cloud and premise-based e-mail solutions.

Among the features in the CX-S are AVST's UC-Mobile solution, speech-enabled and DTMF automated attendant and personal assistant, unified messaging, single number reach, mobile number protection, and voicemail.

“The AVST CX-S addresses an important need for small and mid-sized businesses for a communication platform to support their highly mobile organizations. Many small business employees spend a lot of their time out of the office at their customer’s locations, even while they stay in touch with the home office, their suppliers, and their other clients,” said Marty Parker, principal consultant, UniComm Consulting and co-founder of UCStrategies. “The AVST CS-X is an efficient package of unified messaging and unified communication features needed for that highly mobile workforce. Since the CS-X integrates across a wide range of PBX platforms, both the small and mid-sized business and their communications Value Added Reseller (VAR) can be assured they are buying a product that will remain viable and valuable as the industry continues to evolve rapidly.”
