Arkadin, Vidyo Partner on Cloud-Based Video Conferencing for Channel Partners by UCStrategies Staff
Collaboration services provider Arkadin and cloud-based video conferencing technology provider Vidyo, Inc. announces their new channel-specific video-conferencing solution and distribution agreement. Arkadin’s global channel partners can now resell the cloud-based ArkadinVideo service that is based on Arkadin’s platform and Vidyo’s HD video technology.
The ArkadinVideo solution comes with an interface that allows for editing to be made, such as the addition of the channel’s logo and branding.
Touted by the two companies to bring a range of benefits to channel partners and end users, the cloud-based video-conferencing solution has HD video and high-quality audio provided securely in every call. Vidyo’s SVC-based platform also allows for images to adjust to any network, producing vivid pictures.
“Vidyo’s high-quality video conferencing uniquely scales telepresence to the masses,” said Rob Hughes, chief revenue officer of Vidyo. “The ArkadinVideo solution takes it one step further and allows end user organizations and channel partners to utilize it with no investment in infrastructure.”
With the new ArkadinVideo solution, there can be up to nine simultaneous video displays per screen, while an interface simplifies access from desktops, room-based systems, tablets, and mobile devices. Moreover, the cloud-based model enables rapid, scalable, and affordable deployments.
“This is a winning strategy for the channel to capitalize on the momentum of cloud-based video conferencing,” said Mark Alexander, president of Arkadin North America. “The joint solution offers the best quality technology on the market, supported by Arkadin’s user training and ongoing client care. Our channel partners have been asking for this and we’re confident it will be a profitable component of their collaboration portfolio.” (KOM) Link. Link.
