Blair Pleasant: I am here with with Joe Burton at Plantronics, getting the tour of the new facility. What can you tell us about it?

Joe Burton: Hi Blair. As I was mentioning, what we are actually looking at here is our new smarter working environment, where what we have done is get rid of the old-fashioned cube environment, old-fashioned office environment – really for a couple of reasons. What we have done is create what we really believe most people will be working in, in a few years – a highly dense, very open environment. We have some small, assigned workspaces. What we are standing in right is now is literally a plug-n-play hoteling area where people come in, sit down, corporate standard monitors, docking stations – they are all ready in a matter of a minute and they can be up and running. So it doesn’t matter where you sit.

You will see some other things (this is very cool) as we walk forward. We have put very trendy, but yet acoustic furniture around. This is one of my favorite pieces in the whole building. We have a couple of these sofas around that are really fun places to have a meeting, but it's actually been acoustically been designed and tuned. So as you are sitting in here and having a meeting with people, the sound stays in here for the most part. You don’t hear it too much if you are out there, so people can be in here and have their meetings without disturbing the people around them. So in addition to being a very fun office space, the other thing that we are doing is created the world’s biggest lab for our products. So as the simply smarter communications company, headset-reducing noise pollution in an environment like this, making sure wireless density works and they don’t interfere with each other, and having headsets with a range that they can get up and walk to any of our little breakout rooms along the back. We really believe we have created the kind of environment that will let us create products for the world that people are going to be in, in a few years out.

Blair Pleasant: Perfect, well thank you.
