New solutions are being introduced by Phone.com in order to assist the organization enter the Web real-time communications space. The new solutions will be developed in order to assist users in placing voice and video calls to Android phones, as well as Google’s Chrome web browser.
WebRTC (Web real-time communication) is being adopted by many telecommunications companies, and Phone.com seeks to focus on small to medium-sized businesses.
After the first solutions have gone live, Phone.com is planning to open up its WebRTC platform to devlopers through their their API marketplace.
The CEO of Phone.com, Ari Rabban, is looking to welcome the new solutions. He stated: “WebRTC will provide customers with another method of connectivity using their Phone.com accounts.
