Unify Square Launches PowerSuite for Skype for Business by Robbie Pleasant
Unify Square has just announced the launch of PowerSuite, a UC operations solution suite designed to provide IT with a full view of Skype for Business service health. It provides a comprehensive approach to Skype for Business management, and is available in three packages to meet various needs.
PowerSuite combines Unify Square products with new solutions, including Help Desk, Service Health, and an Operations Dashboard. It uses a comprehensive approach and provides solution capabilities across monitoring, analytics, provisioning, reporting, and the user experience, in order to guide IT through the Microsoft UC transformation cycle, from deployment to end user adoption.
For monitoring, PowerSuite uses proactive synthetic transactional monitoring, so as to find service availability issues before they become problems for the end user. Its big data analytics capabilities provide insights from Skype for Business statistics, so as to help users make better strategic operational decisions. For provisioning, it uses traditional MACD (moves, adds, changes, and deletes) for Skype for Business, along with complete automation and policy compliance management. It reports usage, adoption, billing, and more to help IT manage and understand the Skype for Business data, and has integrated end user satisfaction testing, a help desk, and a user learning center portal, so as to improve the overall user experience.
Unify Square uses the UC-Core technology from PowerSuite to provide historical and real-time analytics, offering insights into key performance indicators that help track the success of Skype for Business rollouts. UC-Core also helps PowerSuite diagnose and repair any issues with call quality and service availability, so that IT can find problems before they occur, and uses end user satisfaction data and system analytics to provide an overview of Skype for Business’s operational performance.
The suite is designed to run in the cloud, so it can be used in cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. With automatic provisioning and deployment services, it streamlines management and removes the need for IT intervention for end-user changes.
“Unify Square is a one of the strongest teams possessing Microsoft UC expertise and experience,” says Kevin Kieller, UC Expert for UCStrategies. “PowerSuite combines several good products that address reporting, 24x7 monitoring (through synthetic transactions), end-user satisfaction and more. Not surprisingly, given Sonu Aggarwal’s (Founder & CEO) Microsoft-centric roots, PowerSuite leverages the ‘bundle’ value proposition. This works very well and provides strong value for organizations who are ‘all in’ with Microsoft communications. Enterprises who need to manage a multi-vendor environment, often times Cisco and Microsoft, may need to look more broadly to competitive or complimentary tools from Unimax, VOSS, and IR.”
PowerSuite is available in three plans: Enterprise, Premium, and Premium Plus. Additionally, Unify Square has a special limited time promotion, providing discounts for up to one year of subscriptions to PowerSuite.
