It has recently been announced that Avaya and a leading distributor of IT products and services, SYNNEX Corporation, have begun discussions regarding the offering of Unified Communications opportunities via SYNNEX CONVERGESolv Secure Networking program. This program will allow both companies to work together and build an elaborate and collaborative communications solution, particularly benefiting data-centric resellers.
Avaya will therefore be able to leverage itself as a worldwide provider of next-generation business collaboration and communications solutions, and will be an addition to the SYNNEX complementary vendor solutions already in place. The agreement means that the strengths of premise networking, UC, cloud and mobility will be delivered to the channel.
SYNNEX currently offers its CONVERGESolv Secure Networking program partners Avaya solution segments such as: Data, Video Conferencing and Hosted or Premise Voice. Professional services support from SYNNEX and Avaya will therefore be made available to partners. Furthermore, emerging trends like UC, BYOD, Cloud/Virtualization and Mobility can be beneficial in the improved collaboration between businesses.
