Telephony Bundle From snom Technology-Patton Electronics Partnership by UCStrategies Staff

The partnership between snom technology and Patton Electronics has been strengthened as they have recently begun to sell telephony bundles in North and South America via the value-added distributor ABP Technology.

Last week, the companies began to distribute a bundle which included snom’s SIP-based VoIP phones and Patton’s SmartNode Branch eXchange (SNBX) appliance preinstalled with Windows 7 and 3CX Phone System software.

The telephony bundle will make the buying process much easier, and will also simplify decisions and installations, particularly as resellers and integrators only have to choose the number of phones required, the number of calls that need to be made, and if legacy equipment is being connected to the IP-PBX infrastructure.

ABP Technology is a Dallas, Texas-based distributor which is making the bundle available; the company focuses on IP telephony solutions. Compared to buying the components individually, pricing is expected to be competitive for the bundle.

Further to combining the IP-PBX, IP phones and VoIP gateway, it will also be possible for customers to integrate VoIP routers into their bundles, in order to prioritize voice traffic over data traffic. (CY) Link
