The StorageCraft Cloud Services platform has now been made available by StorageCraft through its VARs, via Lifeboat and SYNNEX distribution.

Companies are able to utilize offsite backup of servers as a result of StorageCraft Cloud Services, and this means that complete system and data disaster recovery will be possible through the new partnerships. SYNNEX and Lifeboat VARs will also be able to provide access to data and instant system failover, anywhere and at any time in the cloud.

Furthermore, users will be able to choose from instant virtualization to simple archiving via the platform, which means that business continuity requirements can be met by organizations, and they will also be able to maintain control of offsite systems and data.

At present, StorageCraft Cloud Services has been made available and accessible in the U.S. and Canada, and it is expected that the product will also be made available to customers elsewhere in the world, later this year.

A statement from StorageCraft notes that the Cloud Services product of the company can be accessed through VARs on a prepaid basis, and is provided through a range of tiered options, enabling greater capabilities for customization. The tiered options are Cloud Basic, Cloud+ and Cloud Premium.

Cloud Basic stores vital business backup images, Cloud+ holds everything in Cloud Basic as well as immediate file and folder recovery, and Cloud Premium includes the entirety of Cloud+, plus instant virtualization of data and failover in the cloud.

Further to this, users in the U.S. have the choice of opting to have their data mirrored to a second data center if they require an additional layer of protection. (CY) Link
