ShoreTel Sky Partners Now Sell On-Premise and Hosted UC Solutions by UCStrategies Staff
Cloud division partners of ShoreTel Sky – namely Myriad Supply, Flexible Business Systems, Derive Technologies, and Precision IT – have been included in the Champion Partner Program of ShoreTel. This enables the aforementioned reseller partners to offer their customers more business communications solutions on either on-premise or hosted platforms.
ShoreTel’s Champion Partner Program allows Myriad Supply, Flexible Business Systems, Derive Technologies, and Precision IT to offer contact center, mobility, on-premise voice, and unified communications solutions, as well as the cloud-based solutions they are already selling.
“With our top-rated on-premise solution as well as our hosted ShoreTel Sky solution, reseller partners can offer their customers ultimate choice,” said David Petts, senior vice president for worldwide sales at ShoreTel.
ShoreTel Sky was formed when ShoreTel acquisitioned M5 Networks in March 2012. ShoreTel’s reseller partners welcomed the acquisition, and close to 50 ShoreTel partners in the Champion Partner Program joined in to refer or sell the then new ShoreTel Sky’s cloud solution.
“Moving forward, we want to make sure that we’re providing the ultimate in choice to our customers. With our top-rated on-premise solution as well as our hosted ShoreTel Sky solution, we are looking to innovate the space between on-premise and hosted solutions,” said Peter Blackmore, CEO at ShoreTel. “We are also building a hybrid approach that will allow us to deliver cloud apps and services to on-premise customers.”
