RingCentral Announces New Global Solution by Robbie Pleasant

RingCentral has announced a new global Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS) solution: RingCentral Global Office. This solution is designed for multinational offices, in order to connect workforces across multiple countries through a single cloud service.

RingCentral Global Office’s goal is to reduce the complexity and costs of maintaining several legacy PBX systems on-premises. It’s built upon the company’s Global Connect Network, so as to provide scalable and secure service for UC across countries, without the need for international numbers.

Aimed at being flexible, mobile-centric, and capable of scaling globally, the service supports multinational companies or businesses with locations in multiple countries, and offers all-inclusive per-user pricing.

With local phone numbers and local caller ID, the Global Office solution appears as though it were local for regional customers. It offers a variety of features, including local phone numbers and caller ID, worldwide extension-to-extension dialing, as well as emergency services and number porting as required by each country’s law. Additionally, it comes with minute bundles for international calling, and boasts carrier-grade quality of service.

According to Blair Pleasant, co-founder of UCStrategies: “Global businesses with offices in various regions are challenged when it comes to finding a UCaaS solution that can support their needs. Companies with remote and dispersed teams need to be able to communicate and collaborate wherever they’re located, and multinational businesses need to be able to make it easy to communicate with customers, partners, and suppliers on a global basis. As RingCentral moves upmarket and targets larger enterprises, these global capabilities become more important, and help the company better compete in this market segment.”

The RingCentral Global Office solution will be made available on February 18, 2016. For more information, visit www.ringcentral.com.
