Wireless headset manufacturer Plantronics announces the enhancements that were made to its global channel partner program. The company’s Connect Partner program now offers deal registration, education modules, and rewards incentives to its channel partners. The three new components of the enhanced Connect program will be rolled out in phases worldwide.
“Our channel is one of our most critical assets and we respect and value their time and hard work. Today we are unveiling three exciting programs designed to make our partners more competitive, better prepared and richer,” said Roland Rice, vice president of Channel Sales at Plantronics. “Deal registration, a world class learning management system and a new rewards program are designed to do just that.”
Plantronics Connect Deal Registration program involves a channel partner properly informing a vendor about a new opportunity and gets prioritized for it. Plantronics claims that the deal registration system model will increase collaboration, give discounts for new opportunities being registered, and offer higher margins for channel partners notifying Plantronics of qualified opportunities.
Connect University is also launched as part of the recently expanded channel partner program. Connect University is an online learning management system (LMS) that offers partner certifications, sales specializations, and training to Plantronics channel partners. The company says that Connect University educates partners on industry trends and effective solution selling techniques.
Plantronics points-based Connect Rewards program gives incentives to channel partners as they sell Plantronics gear, finish training, and attend certain events and webinars. An online points system is created for sales, as well as for engagements related to partner education. Channel partners can redeem their points online and choose from a variety of rewards, including electronics, fashion goods, luxury products, and more.
Prior to the introduction of deal registration, Connect University, and the rewards program, the Plantronics Connect Partner program already includes channel employee purchase discounts, customer trial units, event support, and marketing development funds. (KOM) Link. Link.
