Managed Hosted Voice Service Feature Guide From Broadvox by UCStrategies Staff

A new Feature Guide has been announced by Broadvox; it will be utilized alongside the company’s Managed Hosted Voice service. The guide will be useful for offering further detail and information on the various offerings provided by the Managed Hosted Voice service and the features available to both existing and prospective users.

A spokesperson of EVP Product Development and Customer Experience at Broadvox; Arnaud Gautier, said: “Hosted Voice is a service well-known for reducing the cost of a phone system, especially for small-to-medium sized businesses. What is not well understood are the advanced calling features that save users time and increase their overall productivity. With this new guide, we hope to help users take advantage of the wide range of features that come with their Managed Hosted Voice service.”

The new Feature Guide, which can be found here, gives information regarding the five advanced features which are aimed at addressing the frequent VoIP frustrations. They are broken down depending on company role (CTO, Receptionist, CEO, Sales, etc). Advanced feature points are the Advanced Call Routing, the Fixed Mobile Convergence, Find Me/ Follow Me, Voicemail-to-Text and Microsoft Outlook Integration.

The Advanced Call Routing is a system which will ease the set-up of call preferences for users, and can be adjusted based on time, day and caller to make sure that calls are received by the appropriate employee. The Fixed Mobile Integration is a feature which lets users have one phone number and one voicemail box over a variety of devices. Furthermore, all calls made to linked devices can be set up to appear as the main business phone number.

The Find Me/ Follow Me feature lets users set their number to ring either simultaneously or sequentially at a set number of desks. Voicemail-to-Text, when enabled, will allow users to ensure that their voicemails are delivered to email inboxes either as text transcripts or recordings. Finally, the Microsoft Outlook Integration feature lets users click-to-call their contact list, accept calls and keep track of call logs through the Outlook interface. (CY) Link
