Microsoft Lync 2013 will now be available on Plantronics, Inc. devices. The announcement came at the Lync Conference 2013 in San Diego, California. The suite is one of the company’s most popular and well-structured lines, and is adaptable to meet the needs of the mobile worker.
The suite is called the “Plantronics Optimized for Microsoft Lync 2013,” and includes: Blackwire Line, Voyager Legend UC Line, Calisto Line and Savi Line.
The Blackwire Line is comprised of USB corded headsets, and one specific line within this offers up to 10 hours call time and connection to tablets and Bluetooth-enabled phones.
The Voyager Legend UC Line series of USB Bluetooth headsets can link up to PCs, tablets and smartphones, and includes a portable charger and quick call-swapping.
The Calisto Line is a series of USB phones and speakerphones, and these are able to link to smartphones and PCs, and offer up to seven hours of call time.
Savi Line devices now have been optimized with Microsoft Lync 2013. These devices are DECT/Bluetooth Wireless Headset Systems, and calls between smartphones, PCs and desk phones can be speedily managed via the 700 line using a single headset.
