Level 3 Unveils New Video Conferencing Solution for Enterprises by UCStrategies Staff
Level 3 Communications releases a new cloud-based video conferencing solution aimed at enterprises. The company claims that its new solution is equipped with collaboration capabilities that will enhance productivity and help build up the bottom line.
On this new cloud service touted to remove the usual hurdles associated with integrated video conferencing, Level 3 is working with Blue Jeans Network to ensure that the service can be used seamlessly across all the different video platforms.
Level 3 says that its new cloud-based solution gets rid of complexities, thereby serving as a useful addition to the company’s portfolio of collaboration services. According to Level 3, the new cloud-based video conferencing solution can be operated minus a dedicated IT staff. It can also improve efficiency without bringing in the costs normally associated with video conferencing implementation. Additionally, Level 3’s new solution does not require hardware investment. And since the solution is built around a reservation-less model, on-demand video communication is possible regardless of the platform used.
“The rapid emergence of personal video capabilities among Internet-connected desktop and mobile devices, coupled with the increasing enterprise demand for traditional video-conferencing capabilities, has created a new and unique market for an 'any-to-any,' ubiquitous video conferencing service,” said Bruno Zerbib, vice president of product management at Level 3. “This new solution demonstrates our focus on global enterprises, passion for reliability and overall commitment to providing a superior customer experience.”
“Easy-to-use, accessible video collaboration services provide customers with a level of flexibility and interoperability that needs to be the new standard of enterprise communications,” said Krish Ramakrishnan, CEO and co-founder of Blue Jeans Network. “Market interest in these unified video solutions continues to be strong, and we are pleased to be working with Level 3 as part of its enhanced service capabilities and continued dedication to increasing service reliability and customer satisfaction.” (KOM) Link.
