Acquisition Extends Prognosis’ Capabilities to Include Next Generation Testing of Unified Communications and Contact Centers
IR is pleased to announce the acquisition of IQ Services, a leader in unified communications & collaboration (UC&C) and contact center performance testing.
The combination of IR and IQ Services will create the world’s most complete view of cloud, hybrid and traditional on premises unified communications & collaboration (UC&C) and contact center solutions, and increases IR’s addressable market opportunities in these sectors by 17% - 21%.
Using patented Virtual Customer® technology, IR’s range of solutions will include experience management and proactive performance testing of next-generation services such as web real-time communication (WebRTC), software defined networks (SDN), Lync and Skype for Business.
IQ Services uniquely provides the means to generate voice, data and video traffic to ensure WebRTC interactions work as intended.
The ability to analyze experience and performance metrics from an end-user perspective will enable organizations to test and validate next generation services prior to going live, as well as during operation. One easy workflow means decisions can be made faster, and customers’ experience can be measured without impacting real-time customer satisfaction, all of which will help them in their uptake.
For organisations implementing Microsoft’s Skype for Business, IR delivered the market’s first solution with real-time inflight visibility into interactions. With the addition of synthetic testing IR will take that a step further by being the only solution in the market able to conduct outside-in tests, verifying the full underlying ecosystem of technologies ensuring delivery of consistent Lync and Skype interaction quality.
