Massachusetts-based Egenera, an infrastructure technology company, announced yesterday that they have entered into an agreement with information technology solutions provider and consultant Mainline Information Systems.
News of the partnership came at this week's Mainline Information Systems national meeting in Orlando, Florida.
Egenera is a leader in cloud management and will be able to provide a first class technology platform to Mainline so that their customers can migrate much faster to the cloud; this will also be a more reliable transition and should not interfere too much with business.
The Vice President of Channels at Egenera, Chris Cleary, said: “We are always looking to find innovative channel partners. And with Mainline, we found a partner who is confidently leading their clients into the cloud era. We are excited to be bringing the Egenera Cloud Suite to the Mainline customer base.”
The Vice President of Mainline Information Systems, Jeff Dobbelacre, said: “Egenera’s robust cloud suite will help us become a leader in cloud services and we look forward to working with them. Through our partnership we will be able to deliver reliable and resilient cloud solutions to our customers.”
