An add-on feature called “Call Bursting” has been released by Broadvox, and is available with the company’s SIP Trunking feature which allows customers to make use of extra call sessions outside the amount purchased for peak calling times. This feature is optional, and users will be able to add it to any SIP Trunking order; it helps businesses or organizations which see sudden spikes in calling activity, like on a snow day for example, when a greater number of calls may be made by schools.

The CEO of Rival5 Technology Corp, Tony Brncich, contacted Broadvox regarding the need to develop a bursting solution. The Call Bursting add-on feature available for Broadvox SIP Trunking addressed our customers’ needs which resulted in securing new business.”

Business continuity options, security configuration to prevent fraud, open policies on IP-PBX interoperability and network-based redundancy for maximum availability are some beneficial aspects of the Broadvox SIP Trunking service.

Further to Call Bursting, a 30-Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee and SIP demonstrator program have been released, and this means that customers will be able to validate the Broadvox SIP Trunking service to use on their own for free. (CY) Link
