BroadSoft, Inc. has introduced a new portfolio of cloud PBX, contact center, and unified communications and collaboration applications. This new portfolio, called BroadSoft Business, integrates core business applications and communications in a single cloud platform, and can scale to all market segments.

There are three core applications within BroadSoft Business: UC-One, Team-One, and CC-One. BroadSoft Hub, an enterprise-grade cloud service integrated with the apps, provides contextual intelligence for the entire platform.

BroadSoft UC-One is a mobile first communications application. It’s designed to deliver integrated HD audio and video, as well as contextual intelligence, messaging, screen and file sharing, and conferencing across the user’s devices.

BroadSoft Team-One is a collaboration application that leverages persistent team workspaces and contextual intelligence. Through Team-One, users can access tasks, files, messages, and notes, as well as video conferencing, click-to-call, and screen sharing, from one place. It’s also made to integrate with a variety of popular business apps, so that users can access these capabilities with their applications of choice.

BroadSoft CC-One, a cloud contact center solution, uses predictive analytics to reduce operating costs and provide better business outcomes. In order to provide an omni-channel experience, it lets businesses communicate with customers through voice, email, mobile, web, text, or social media, depending on the customer’s preference.

BroadSoft boasts that BroadSoft Business will provide scalability and affordability to service providers and their customers, whether they’re large enterprises or small businesses. By integrating all of its business applications and communications together, it aims to help employees who may be overwhelmed by the vast amount of non-connected business applications they have to use, and all the messages and notifications that may come flooding from those applications.

According to Blair Pleasant, co-founder of UCStrategies: “Broadsoft has been working to increase its brand awareness among end users to help its service provider partners more successfully sell their services to business buyers. Along with the new enhanced applications and capabilities introduced, Broadsoft also announced its new ‘Powered by Broadsoft’ branding, to help service provider partners meet and influence the buyer’s journey. In addition to the Broadsoft brand amplification, service providers that sign up for this program will get additional marketing tools and digital content from Broadsoft to help the sales process.”

She adds, “Broadsoft has been doing a good job of enhancing its offerings to enable its service provider partners to offer more full-featured services to customers. The Team-One team app is a perfect example of this. Broadsoft’s Team-One is an all-in-one team collaboration and messaging application that also integrates calling (click to call), video conferencing, screen sharing, etc., helping its partners to better compete by providing a more complete solution than many current team collaboration offerings.”

Notably, BroadSoft recently surpassed 15 million cloud UC deployments worldwide, and hopes to capitalize on that success with BroadSoft Business. For more information, visit www.broadsoft.com.
