CloudBerry Lab’s Managed Backup service has been improved, and now provides advanced level remote management. CloudBerry Lab is a vendor of an Amazon Web Services powered cloud backup solution for Managed Service Providers.
The CloudBerry Managed Backup enables service providers to have full and remote control of customers’ backup jobs. Web-based control panels are able to create and change backup plans, specify plan name and backup source, make filters for specific types of files and folders, configure backup schedule and choose compression and encryption options.
The Web interface ensures that configurations can be made and this does not need on-site support. When a backup plan has been made, it is applied to the selected workstation or server and comes up in the backup client user interface. It is also possible for servers to operate remotely and stop backup plans. If something were to go wrong, the provider is able to send remote logs from the user’s computer to the CloudBerry Lab support team to resolve the problem.
It is possible to see and change plans made by the end user, in addition to the backup plan remote configuration service provider. Furthermore, the user’s access credentials to the backup client can also be changed. The one button click backup client settings can be altered to common mode, which means that backup plan configuration is common to everyone using the computer.
