iCore Uses AudioCodes for its Unified Communications as a Service by Robbie Pleasant

Broadsoft is holding its BroadSoft Connections 2013 conference later this week, which means lots of cloud announcements. Just in time for the conference, AudioCodes announced a new relationship with iCore Networks. According to the press release, iCore Networks will be using AudioCodes’ media gateways, SBCs, and business routers for its iCore Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) offerings. The UCaaS offering from iCore Networks, based on the BroadSoft software platform, provides a full suite of tools for communication, collaboration, and productivity to over 100,000 end users. The use of AudioCodes’ portfolio of networking products will help iCore accelerate the deployment of its hosted services, improve connectivity, and make it easier to integrate with a customer’s existing communications infrastructure.

iCore’s ‘Strong Cloud’ of services is based on best-of-breed providers, including Cisco, Juniper, Oracle, IBM, and Polycom, with AudioCodes as the newest partner. The AudioCodes portfolio is expected to make it easier for iCore’s customers to deploy more quickly and to integrate iCore’s service to their own communications infrastructure, while maintaining survivability.
