ConnectSolutions Purchases NextUC

It has been announced that Microsoft Lync-based UC solutions, NextUC, has been acquired by ConnectSolutions, and will enable the latter to broaden its market by being able to provide specific services for the SMB niche.

NextUC focuses on streamlining communications for small and midsize businesses. The acquisition is set to greatly lengthen the functional capabilities and market reach of ConnectSolutions, allowing for the distribution of UC technology to the broader range of small to large businesses, government and educational institutions. The NextUC solution will allow for the distribution of innovative team collaboration experience by seamlessly combining the telephone service, unified messaging, video conferencing, online meetings, chat and mobile devices.

The NextUC self-service platform will be used by ConnectSolutions in order to distribute their UC technology, and this includes VoIP, IM/email, real-presence, virtual classrooms and online collaboration services. It is expected that this cloud-based platform will largely make easy and shorten the Lync deployment process for any size of organization.
