The UC Summit confirmed the revolution of Unified Communications. The true value is in business process transformation, not saving individual users time although this may be an ancillary benefit. This brave new world will be filled with niche solutions from various solutions providers, as opposed to solutions under a single brand name. The Summit provided introductions and exposure to new emerging players, advanced integrators, as well as industry consultants focused on driving strategic value and results for their clients. The opportunity cost of attending proved to be an excellent investment.
